A service note for Windows users: Microsoft has released an update for Windows 10 that fixes a serious security hole in connection with the network functions of the operating system. The installation is strongly recommended for all users.
The weakness affects the network service SMB. The system component is used, for example, when accessing network drives or sharing printers. The security vulnerability registered under the code number CVE-2020-0796 is so explosive because detailed information on it has been circulating for two days and there is therefore a concrete risk of misuse.
